Arabic Typographic Graphic Design Book

Deutch graphic designers, Ben Wittner and Sascha Thoma, are compiling a book on contemporary graphic design across the Middle East + Northern Africa + Iran with emphasis on works that include some sort of typographic and/or calligraphic genius. The book is due to be published early 2008 by German publishing giant Die Gestalten Verlag, the same awesome people who have given us such priceless books like Nordic Youngblood, Pictoplasma, Neasden Control Centre, Hidden Track, and Dos Logos.

If interested, send Ben and Sascha something you've done that you think is worthy before the 27th of August.

These arrived a while back from Starry Eye Productions in Malaysia: the poster designs I made applied unto flyers, bookmarks, DVD cover, and a t-shirt.



Shirt would've been a lot cooler, I think, if it were red, not white. And the actual design couldda taken up more space.
